Like, should they be capitalized? Is it obelisk or Obelisk?

Looking at the encyclopedia, looks like they are proper nouns. I think most people just do lowercase because it's a shortcut.

i do believe they, like all breeds, are proper nouns, according to the encyclopedia
but that's not going to stop me from lowercasing everything because i am simply far too lazy to change (and it flows better for me to not stop for grammar so i can get my thoughts out before i forget 'em lol)

this entry and it had both versions for Tundra.

is very likely to take your posts literally - has difficulty discerning if tone is joking
It drives me nuts seeing them in lowercase, so I always capitalize them lol the only thing I flip-flop on is whether to capitalize Modern/Ancient

I don't think modern and ancient need to be capitalized. It's usually used as an adjective, not a noun. Even when used as a noun, it's descriptive idk though it's been a while since I took an English class lol

There are such things as proper adjectives, too, though. An American car. But I don't think that modern or ancient are capitalized either... but I have no idea why.
But I do capitalize breeds.

Sometimes I'll capitalize them and sometimes I won't.
Usually in dragon bios I won't and I only sometimes do so in the forums, especially if I have to involve multiple breeds. It's just easier to keep them all lowercase.
I believe they are capital, as they're a breed name. Like if you compare it to a dog breed, dog isn't capital but Labrador is because it's the name of a specific breed. So dragon isn't capital but Tundra would be.
But like I said, I don't always follow that rule for forum posts or bios because it slows me down to shift + hit the right letter. Can't imagine how much slower it would be on mobile to do that.

Grammar nazi here! (well, maybe not that far, just butt retentive ^^)
As a word itself, they're not proper nouns, they're common nouns.
However, in the context of the game they are proper nouns!
Sometimes I use lowercase because I can't be bothered, other times I use uppercase. Depends on how I feel that day. :P

I capitalise breed names but I use them as an adjective, not as a noun. Imperial dragon for singular and Imperial dragons for plural.
