I would normally assume the Dustcarve Dig isn't an event that's gonna be repeated, but the "NEW" banner is gone off of the tab, and it's still there even weeks after the event has ended. Is it here to stay, and if so, what will future Dustcarve Dig-based events look like?

They might be waiting to take the link down til they add Obelisks to the Encyclopedia.
I'd expect anything that uses the mechanic will get new art so it's not the same thing as last time.

I imagine they'll have a dedicated catalogue or something once there's more. But, as there's only one right now, a separate page is unnecessary.

Ooooooh! That's a good point. I wondered about the effort/1 in the URL. If so, I can't wait to see what the next effort looks like!

Ooooooh! That's a good point. I wondered about the effort/1 in the URL. If so, I can't wait to see what the next effort looks like!
I think that will be where efforts go in general, and it might be changed to the name of the next effort when we get one. They might keep the old ones around for archive reasons (especially the lore heavy ones) so people can read and look at the art, or for any stragglers to claim prizes they've missed.
