Is it just me, or do the chests for this festival have a much lower drop rate? Usually I can grind two in the first day. I've spent several hours grinding for Sprockets, which I've found a fair bit, but I haven't had any chests, or other notable drops, which is a bit rare for Coli grinding for me. I'm wondering if it might be the venue, I've been grinding in the Thunderhead Savanna.

It's day one, I wouldn't judge a cake by it's frosting just yet. Could simply be bad RNG for the moment and you'll prolly need a quick second to actually tell.

I'm definitely having more luck with these than I did with the Brightshine ones. More luck with obtaining sprockets in general, too, although I do think sprockets are dropping from familiar bonding less.

It's not just you. For the last year and a half or more I'm lucky if I can get 1 chest out of every 1,000 fest currency dropped.
I used to be able to vault 5-8 extra duplicate chests while opening one of each with the same amount of time spent grinding/fest currency earned. Now I'm buying most if not all chest skins I want because nothing drops all week, even if I'm putting in hours each day.

Drop rate is absolutely horrible. I just went through 350 holiday currency and one chest.

i actually had no idea chests were a thing, i've only really participated in this fest and brightshine
These threads have turned up pretty much every festival pretty much every year after the first heh.
There are always outliers, and sometimes you're one of them.

Same, I used to love grinding coli during fests. Chests weren't too often, but just enough to feel satisfying. Now it just hurts.
