With less than a week to go, I think it's time to start a thread for the Water vs. Earth dominance battle! Dom battles are my favorite part of FR, so I'm super excited to see how this one will turn out. I've got some questions for anyone who wants to answer—most of these are based off of @/dragonpals' questions for WvP. Feel free to answer as many or as few as you'd like!

The Questions
- Which flight will you be supporting/cheering for?

- How do you plan to participate? Training, selling fodder, cheerleading, buying foddart, boarding etc...

- Do you stock up on fodder before the battle? If so, do you train first, and what level do you train to?

- What coli venue and build do you use for training fodder? Do you listen to music/podcasts or watch TV while training, and if so, any recs?

- If you're planning on selling fodder directly to the pushing flights, do you prefer public buy, raffle tickets and payout, or 1t dragons for more raffle tickets? Have you ever won anything from an OOF or IF raffle?

- Which flight do you think will win?

My answers:
- I like to support the underdog, so I sell my dragons to whoever's losing at the moment. I think I'd like to see Water win slightly more, but what I really want is a close battle with lots of flips!

- Training and selling! I'd like to board, but all of my space is taken up by my own fodder.

- Yes, I mostly save fodder for dom battles rather than exalting it myself. I've got 300+ level 8s waiting to be sent off.

- I alternate between my Mire Flyer and Ghostlight Anticitank for training. I think the Mire might be slightly faster, but I get bored. I like to watch TV while training—right now I'm watching Shadow and Bone and the Olympics.

- Raffle tickets and payout. I won a set of Corsair's Seaspray Garb from Fire during LvF.

- Earth, maybe? They're smaller and a big exalting flight. In my experience, the winner usually depends on which flight is willing to spend more on fodder and raffle prizes. The REAL winner, though, will be my wallet once I sell all of my fodder.

My answers:

i still don't know who i'll support, but time is running out quickly to make a decision! :')

this is actually the first dom battle i'll be witnessing (i might've been around for some other big dom battles before, but i probably didn't pay attention lol. i used to be relatively inactive on the forums.) so i actually don't have any good answers :'D i'm not even completely sure what OOF and IF raffles are haha. maybe this earth vs water battle will be a good time for me to find out a lot of things.

I plan on selling almost all of my g2+ dragons during the battle, so selling fodder.

I don't really prepare myself for dominance battles. I just yoink what I have and call it a day. I do not train them before selling.

I don't train fodder often, but when I do I go to the Mire venue with two mire flyer builds. I listen to music, usually rock or similar. Right now I mainly listen to The Score when I coli.

I have not participated in fodder raffles and I do not plan too in the near future.

well, i'm in earth, so i think it's fairly obvious :,D

- How do you plan to participate? Training, selling fodder, cheerleading, buying foddart, boarding etc...

for once, i've actually got plenty of fodder to exalt. i usually miss out on dom, but not this time!

- Do you stock up on fodder before the battle? If so, do you train first, and what level do you train to?

i'm trying to train some before. i usually like to go to 10, even if it is a bit more time consuming, just because i've gotten really good drops before when pushing past 7 for some reason.

- What coli venue and build do you use for training fodder? Do you listen to music/podcasts or watch TV while training, and if so, any recs?

i prefer the kelp beds, and while it's probably not the most efficient, i use two culex glass cannons. if there's a new episode of a show i've been wanting to watch, i'll go with that, but i usually lean towards podcasts! if you like horror, i'd definitely recommend the white vault. for slightly less spooky things, hello from the hallowoods, the far meridian, vast horizon, wolf 359, and the penumbra podcast are also really good!

well. when it's not my flight participating, i usually go for raffle and payout. i won a couple of baldwin familiars in flight once when i was still in shadow :]

I thought it was going to be Water, but then I realized that Water might get a lot of OOF support already due to Earth's reputation and I also have a good friend in Earth. So we'll see, it might depend on the payouts!

Oh yeah, my hibden is ready. I have Level 10s and Level 8s trained in advance, and then some Level 6s that I quickly did this weekend so I could finish filling the den and have a break from the coli before the battle starts.

I have been storing some of my fodder recently and i have lots of dragons im not attached to anymore, so ill train them. I never train before as my lair space is kinda limited, cant wait for something to grow, most of my fodder comes with hibden cooldown anyways.
