TOPIC | Luminax and New Ancient
I had a sudden thought

I know this will never happen and I am horrified to consider the biology involved but what if. What if luminax can have kids.

What if that's the new ancient

considering emperors are undead, i doubt this is the case! no need to worry about... whatever goes into that

that said, new emperors can be made at any time if you have enough deceased imperials laying around, so...

1) Luminax is biologically dead
2) Ancients. As in, was created a long time ago.
1) Luminax is biologically dead 2) Ancients. As in, was created a long time ago.
So we need a non-living thing that can still reproduce. Thankfully(?) we have that IRL: Viruses. Clearly this means that Luminax reproduces by inserting their DNA into a host that will then produce additional emperors. As for your second point: Time travel.

nah. not every hydra creature is related to emperors.
i'm not seeing an undead species being a thing, especially one made up of/related dead Imperials.

is very likely to take your posts literally - has difficulty discerning if tone is joking
actually I love this idea, not for the current ancient but for whenever the light ancient rolls around. it circumvents the imperials being the "first children" (aka lore ancients) and the children of the first children would be like....first grandchildren, emperor babies can count as Ancients (because perhaps they existed long ago, and the way theyve been "rediscovered" is through luminax). lightweaver foxy grandma

However, the creation would be pure squick, since the Light Head considers the other two siblings.
oh big agree, I was going more for the "viral infection" mentioned by azhdrake, or maybe since emperors have godpowers they can just Create things without "reproducing"; they essentially sculpt a new cool minion and turn it in to their mommy like a big group project
