I've seen a few people say that they've already bought dragons to turn into the new ancient when it comes out. Have you?

Personally, I don't think that I could buy a dragon without knowing at least roughly how they could look, so I'm just going to buy some new dragons/turn some of my gen1s into the new breed after it comes out.

no bought ones, but i do have a few projects. i could hold off on a couple of ones i'm struggling to have a plan for until the breed releases, who knows they make look great!

We haven’t seen it beyond a silhouette, to me that feels like a waste of money and time. I would rather save up for current projects I’m working on than jump head first into a breed we barely know anything about.

However, that’s just my playstyle, I'm not gonna judge others for doing differently.

Well, since we don't know when the ancient is coming out, I'll just hold on to some extra g1s, and scry them as the new breed when it comes out. Hopefully, it will make my rotten, random progen look good.

Nope. Seems like a bad gamble, especially for an ancient, there's no way to know what new genes there might be or what could look good.

I mean I have a huge stockpile of basic g1s I bought because I like their colors, who are waiting for inspiration (in the form of new gene/apparel/skin releases) to strike, which often works out really well. But that's as close as I get.

I wouldn't specifically buy something to become a breed I haven't seen and can't predict the details of.

but i do have a some dragons I generally am not satisfied with but i dont particularly want to get rid of them,
if they look good as a different breed I'll switch them

Too early for me, I'll wait for more hints or for the breed to be introduced, myself. Plus, we don't even know the specifics for how the breed will be introduced and whether it's treasure or a gem breed...

I did for Obelisks because I wanted a specific date for them (anniversary), but for ancients I'd like a few with the release date, or this upcoming Friday the 13th, so those are the dragons ill be stockpiling.

Ha! I don't have the self control for that so instead I keep blasting through my current projects. I'll see how WW looks and then work on trying to put up some treasure for them unless of course I can't manage to keep it saved and just run into their release head on going "Whelp this is all my fault" staring at an empty bank of funds.

I’ve bought one, but I made some backup scrys with current breeds just in case!
