Honestly I think it's hilarious... it's not making fun of the festival or flight, just a throwback to a funny little typo. Not a bit deal.

Not that I have a particular stance on Fire's festival specifically, but yes Ice's festival is also routinely (if slightly less commonly) referred to as a typo'd version of its name. Even in August I am hyped for the Gla. In both cases if someone is being made fun of it's the staff member who made the original typos.

I personally see it as the same joke as us in the Water Flight not having a deity, lol. That Tidedad is out to get us some milk. I never saw it as a hurtful thing, personally, more just a joke. I doubt anyone actually means it.

actually, yes, other flights have had jokes since the early days due to staff mistakes and site mishaps. granted it hasn't happened to many flights, and these days it's nearly uncommon, but they are there.
Arcane flight is deemed the 'troubled flight' due to interrupting 1-2 flight festivals due to bugs/mishaps in the past (namely Greenskeepers 2014, infamously known as the 'Festival of 1')
One other flight (either Earth or Lightning, I can't remember) was given the side eye/stink eye in 2014 when they nearly took dom on a different flight's holiday (which introduced the dom cooldown system, in effort to avoid that/constant dom wins in the future)
While not exactly a typo, they were all incidents caused by staff/site mishaps in the past, and many find them laughable today- mistakes that had no big issue in the long run. Like how once or twice the FR Announcement forum was made available to members and several went crazy posting memes and alerts to staff in there- flooding the front page with nonsense. (I still remember that day, logging in and seeing a big as heck gif of Naruto doing a thumbs up and all the Announcement said was "Believe it!" lmao)
In the end of it all, it's just a reference to a mishap in 2014, and no ill intent is ever intended with it. I know several fire flight members also like this meme and playful joke over it too. I'm sorry it bothers you though, but no need to get hostile-ish.

There are inside jokes for all the flights but it's really nothing to get so worked up about. There is a lot of fire flight pride all around so maybe try and focus on that?
