TOPIC | loaning lv 25s
I’m loaning my mire flyer for the first time in a long while and it’s making me so anxious. I didn’t realize I was this attached until now. I haven’t even used him to level anything in a while.

And I’m even loaning him to someone I know irl so I know he’ll be returned and such.
I just.. aaaaaa stressful.

oh man, i could never.
even if i knew them i'd be like 'but what if they never get back on?'

is very likely to take your posts literally - has difficulty discerning if tone is joking
This is why I stopped loaning permas and only started loaning dragons I got specifically to loan to people. I lost two dragons for over a year at one point. Never again.

At least you can take solace in that if they don't return them in a timely fashion, you can ask them nicely IRL to get them back?
But I agree with everyone else and I've never lost a dragon by loaning, it's not a great idea to do. Since I don't think that staff will willingly get your dragon back if the other user goes MIA.

When I was a brand new player someone lent me a LV25 so that I could train up the rest of my team. I was floored that they would trust a complete stranger like that! So I purchased some gems for the first (and only) time and gave them a hefty tip when I sent their dragon back.

Oh I could never do that! I'd be too afraid of not getting them back ;-;

At least you know them irl though! That way if anything goes wrong or you'd like them back you can talk to the person irl to see what's up.

Lucky that I just have three active coli dragons for myself. This might not only benefit coli dragons, but if I would send some dragons to someone to foster, I also would be anxious, that they return safely. But if I would foster dragons from people, I would always return them! It would be very mean if the dragon youre lending to other players end up getting exalted or the player becomes inactive and you never see your dragon again. I had this with a dragon I was sending out as a travelling dragon. The original became stuck in an inactive lair and is there to this day. I have a replacement and I'm tempted to send her out to the world again, but maybe this time with the restriction, that she only goes to people, who don't quit until sending her out again!

yep, it's scary!! i've sent permas out to be trained in the past and even though i always triple check that the person has a good track record, it's still an anxiety inducing experience. T-T
