TOPIC | Anatomically correct Tundra dragons.

Noticing the Tundra's thin nature (especially the female version), I thought that they wouldn't have enough room for their internal organs, so I corrected their artwork the best I can. It's good to note that the wings can cover up a lot of the back, since they're not directly on the spine. Plus you'd be surprised what some real-life species can get away with. (I've looked at some dogs before and been like 'that all fits in there???')

They are a bit thin yeah. but I still think there is room. They just happen to be built like a greyhound. :)

I personally see them with deep chests that are obscured by the fur, not just straight tubes. Like sighthounds! The original really doesn't seem bad to me. Like niceless said, there's plenty of sighthounds that have that size waist or smaller. I agree on the 'the visible bit isn't the whole of the waist' too - if you look at other breeds, particularly gaolers, f imps and m guardians (and think about bats, our closest equivalent) there's plenty of back past the wing membrane.

It's a fun thing to headcanon, but there's nothing wrong with canon!
(I imagine that winter-coat tundras are a lot pudgier - summer tundras aren't carrying much extra weight)

Reality is sometimes stranger than fiction.

Regarding forum games, please only select dragons who have familiars - those are the permanent residents of my lair. Feel free to look through the hibernal den, too
...Bear in mind, dogs are primarily carnivores with some omnivorous tendencies. Tundras are strict herbivores, and therefore should have much more gut room for digesting plant material.
