whats your least favorite part about each dragon species? could be design, gameplay mechanics, an unlucky set of events that skewed your opinion for all eternity. [line] [emoji=banescale size=1]: Kind of boring, i'm sorry banescale fanatics but i had a pair of banescales for the longest time and could NOT form an attachment to them or their offspring. wound up selling them both as adult fodder in Ice versus Shadow. I want more because i just love these fat little noodles just look at they squish but baldwin is costly and i refuse to buy breedchange scrolls from the auction house. [emoji=obelisk size=1] For all of the supplies and effort i forked over to dustcarve its kind of a bummer that we only got one obe each instead of getting a breeding pair but Ok. [emoji=pearlcatcher size=1] Why do all the pearlcatchers i breed wind up xyzs. I will breed two dragons with the exact purpose of getting a repeat color pearlcatcher and all of the hatchlings will either be xyzs or Not A Pearlcatcher. [emoji=ridgeback size=1] I only have one. [emoji=skydancer size=1] I only have skydancers in the white range. [emoji=snapper size=1] I still only have one hot dang! [emoji=spiral size=1] Still eating all my insects but i don't have as many spirals as i do nocturnes and fae so THIN ICE. [emoji=tundra size=1] The babies dont look as nice as the grownups which is weird. I think its something to do with how little hair is on a hatchling tundra's head. [emoji=veilspun size=1] I'm starting to think ancients just aren't my thing. [emoji=wildclaw size=1] SAME PROBLEM AS COATLS. [Line] Since this thread got necro'd behind my back, here are the breeds that got added between then and now. [emoji=aberration size=1] Really unpopular opinion here but I hate two-headed fantasy creatures that are "two entities one body". I'd get into it but every time I do I get bullied for it so if you're gonna come at me for this one do it in my PMs where I can screenshot and block you. FIGHT ME. oh boy this is gonna have some Opinions- im so ready to hear all of them [emoji=banescale size=1]: you just cant see a lot of gene details on male banescales, even tho the male pose is my favorite. i hate plumage, its probably my least favorite gene by far. [emoji=bogsneak size=1] they are fine. the veins kinda weird me out depending on genes and colors. unfortunately i depend on glimmer and underbelly, and they have this... weird gradient right under their chin that just ruins the look of both genes for me [emoji=coatl size=1] i dont like the female pose. they just look so unbalanced. the male pose is great tho. kinda wish their tongues didnt change color. [emoji=fae size=1] neck, the classic neck. also its just SO hard to see primaries, and because they are so tiny a lot of the primary genes i like just look horribly busy. the wings are great for a good secondary tho. [emoji=gaoler size=1] I was a big fan when they first launched, but i just got bored of them. i wish they had more gene variations. i can only really enjoy them with natural colors like browns/blacks/whites. [emoji=guardian size=1] the stupid gradient on female guardian wings, right where the muscle meets their shoulders. how there's a hard stop for genes like bee and trail and noxtide. i hate it S O O much it ruins the entire look for me. also i dont like the beards on the males- they just look so unkempt and matted to me [emoji=imperial size=1] a bit overhyped, but i like them. the female imp pose annoys me for a reason i cant explain. [emoji=mirror size=1] why does glimmer Do That. stop. [emoji=nocturne size=1] i dont the shape. the jaw, the legs,. also pretty much all body apparel clips right through the wings and that upsets me to no end. [emoji=obelisk size=1] great lil dudes. hard to get secondaries to work with the small wings and how different the colors in the mane are, but it makes for some cool comos that dont work on other breeds. why do the females look like a really pissed off cat that you put a hat on that is now counting the number of days you have left. [emoji=pearlcatcher size=1] pearls my beloved. they suffer from that weird cut off from the secondary where it meets their shoulders that guardians do, but its not near as bad. why does the male pose refuse to work with all of the dragons i WANT to be a pearlcatcher. [emoji=ridgeback size=1] hate the male pose. it looks like he just beat me in cards by cheating and knows that i cant prove it- but we both know he definitely cheated. love the female pose. best dragon to flaunt good secondaries on by far. wish glimmer didnt turn the spikes on their legs to the tert color tho, looks odd. [emoji=skydancer size=1] skydancers are amazing, hate their necks tho. H O W does that shape work, where its thinnest at the middle?? looks like they are mid swallow. also why does noxtide SUCK on skydancers. [emoji=snapper size=1] i dont own any... generally the color combos i like just never work on them. [emoji=spiral size=1] spirals are eating all my bugs. sure wish capsule didnt look Like That on male spirals. if you know you know [emoji=tundra size=1] i just hate how the fur looks. wish i liked them, because a good tundra is a G O O D tundra, but i just cant figure out how to make them work like other users can [emoji=veilspun size=1] veils would be perfect if i could dress them. love these weird, tiny lil' weasels. [emoji=wildclaw size=1] i unfortunately love me a good m-pose g1 wildclaw. sure wish their muscles didnt look... weird in certian genes, especially metallic and iridescent. drink some water please ur dehydrated

Also not enough accents. [emoji=nocturne size=1] It feels like the artists couldn't decide on how to draw their belly apparel so all belts/sashes etc look awkward as hell on them. [emoji=obelisk size=1] Apparel/genes that affect their mane look so bad ORZZZZ [emoji=pearlcatcher size=1] F pose is great but the M pose is so janky and messed up. Who scrunched up this horse. [emoji=ridgeback size=1] Not! Enough! Accents!! [emoji=skydancer size=1] Mostly perfect but M pose's underbelly covers so much of its midriff, the huge blank space is distracting and takes away from the primary. [emoji=snapper size=1] Most face apparel looks incredibly silly on them. [emoji=spiral size=1] Such a weird pose to dress. [emoji=tundra size=1] The face/eyes are uncanny valley. looks like a human that got partially turned into a dog but still remembers what it once was. We need more eye coverings for tundras specifically lmao. [emoji=veilspun size=1] You want me to pay 1kg for you, and I can't even dress you? Bye. [emoji=wildclaw size=1] Aggressively boring design. They really just drew a straightup dinosaur and asked $20 USD for it. What are you even gonna do with those little arms?

But why are they tiny??!! How can they fly with all that hair if they're so small?? I refuse to believe they aren't like 3-4 feet tall [emoji=wildclaw size=1] I want more of them but they're expensive
