For me, didn't even have an account when my stupidity made a debut on flight rising, I thought the dragon on the front page would be the dragon I started with and I kept reloading until I got one I liked, and was thoroughly disappointed.

i thought g1s hatched from eggs were worthless because they were triple basic. i think i sold at least two for 5kt, and ik one had nice colors.

I thought that tertiary colors did absolutely nothing, because when I looked at it in my custom progen menu, it didn't change anything. It never occurred to me that maybe it was used for something else, or that it wouldn't in the game if it didn't do anything.

I thought that eye element colour was inherited. I got a very nice icy pair of Banescales. Imagine my sadness when the babies came out with purple eyes...

i thought nocturnes and imperials were a dying breed because they were categorised as 'limited', and rushed to by a couple of them

i joined right around when the invisibility cloaks were released and didn't understand how they worked... so i gave it away
now i can't afford to buy another one smh

I didn't realize that different genes had different levels of rarity so I'd always just randomly breed dragons together and be confused why they all looked like my 1stgen

I thought people who loved G1s were [i]insane[/i]. Why would you want a dragon with no genes and spend so much on geneing it when you can get the same dragon fully gened for a fraction of the price?

I got a few things for yall:
-I gave away and exalted all but one of my progens first children. BIG MISTAKE. One of them was even a rare color combo and i exalted the thing..
-When i JUST started i thought the only thing you could do was take care of your lair and clan, and i was disproven rather easily by a few curious clicks around the site
- I was legit nervous about talking in the forums (becuase introvert) for like the first month of me playing. Could have gotten a few more newbie gift bombs if i wasent scared of the community that actually turned out to be really nice

I vaguely got that the grayed-out dragon has just fainted, but I thought there was an upper limit on how many times and after that it became fatal. I wasn't gonna play until I knew that limit. I'm still grateful to the more experienced player I asked for answering the question straight-faced and not dying of laughter.
