Does anyone else get bored of seeing the same XXX, XXY, XYX, ect. type dragons?…
Could be my ADHD talking, I sometimes get bored of doing or seeing the same things over and over unless if it’s a hyperfix of mine.
Also yes, I am a complete hypocrite since if you look at my pairs they’re all matchy colors but still. I’m tempted to exalt or sell them and get new pairs that are completely random just to see what I’ll get.

I've always found XXX dragons to be boring. Yes my lair has a few exceptions... for now...
Usually XXYs are okay but I have grown a dislike for Obsidian/Obsidian/Y dragons. They're just so common it doesn't feel unique and they look boring because they're everywhere.
My favorites are definitely matchy XYZ dragons along with XYY dragons.
However, outside of a breeding pair, I do make myself try limiting how many look the same/similar because I'd then get tired of that combo.

every time i see another xxx dragon on the auction house i look back apon my lair and appreciate how pleasing my dragons look without being triple x's.

All my AH time is spent looking at fodder so I can't say I've noticed there haha. I think I tend to notice interesting themes/aesthetics in other people's lairs rather than the exact XYZ-whatever combination of the dragon unless it's super obvious.
edit: I totally forgot but I do have an XXX dragon. He's all antique!

I have a couple XXXs myself, but I don't go out of my way to buy them. XYZ are so much more fun to me.

I really love XXYs, because XYZ/XYY/XYX bug me typically (wings and body being different colors = me crying over not matchymatchy) but I dislike XXX generally unless it works really well and I love breeding two same primary/secondary but different tertiarys because New Things.

I like doubles and triples to show off complex UMAs. I find that a triple Midnight, for example, can make certain colour UMAs really stand out well without anything clashing, especially on plain genes like iri/shim/glim.
But I do see the value in a nice XYZ as well, especially when the colours look good together! Especially if you want the focus to be on a dragon's genes and colours rather than a skin or apparel. I'd think a triple with no skin and plain apparel wouldn't be very interesting, at least to me.
I have a mixture of both in my lair!
