I love hearing about sad/angsty stuff, so tell me some of your sad headcanons!

I'll start:
-Plague Guardians aren't only cast out of the Guardian community when they lose their charge, they're cast out of their actual clan. If you can't even protect what you dedicate your whole life to, you're better off left for the dogs.

-theres some small strains of Plague in the Behemoth. Very small, but still there. Nature dragons don't notice, but eventually the Behemoth will rot completely.

Exalt Fodder=Cannon Fodder.

one day, both nature and plague will destroy each other. the wyrmhound will become rich soil for plants, the behemoth will dry up and fall apart. any dragon that wishes to stay in their flight is forced to move to the other place, even if the threat of death is close. either both flights are destroyed or both flights remain, but they're swapped and the territory will never be the same.

If a nocturne feedback loop goes on too long the colony is at risk of starving to death

Guardian-charge relationships can sometimes become horrifically abusive, especially in the case of a charge who feels entitled to treat their Guardian like an attack dog or an overprotective/controlling Guardian.

If a Mirror swarm gets hungry enough, they’ll start feeding on each other.

Shadow, Plague, and Nature are great places to dump a body because the soil is so acidic it basically eats organic matter.

Man, I can already see this post being locked or cleaned up a couple times. But here’s my one (1) headcanon


- The spire has caused numerous ‘minor’ injuries and ‘unrelated’ fatalities, we as a flight and company take no take all responsibility for these accidents and will not readjust our protocols accordingly. Stormcatcher & Co. can proudly say our safety equipment is up to standard and functional with the latest technology from the shifting expanse.
