i'm feeling particularly nostalgic tonight, and i've thought a lot about what a beautiful community fr has been to me the 6.5 years i've been active.
i hope everyone is having a lovely day/night and i'd love to hear your stories of kindness you've seen from people on this site. or just what you miss.
i miss when there were no 'liking' dragons. it makes me sad to see my babies with no likes

I've not got the most detailed of stories, but I do remember when I was new and founded my own lineage project, which introduced me to a very kind user, who, while sadly isn't active today, sure left their mark on my FR experience. We shared our lore, services and dragons with each other, and they helped me expand my lineage project a fair amount; those were great times!
I feel you on the times when there was no like counter; it's nice to see my dergs getting them stars but it's unfair to the ones I work hard on and love just as much!

those people who help newbies out really do make an impact, don't they :)
how did your project turn out? it's wonderful you were able to meet your friend through that process, i miss the friends who i met and helped me out in those same situations so much ;v;

Same here, can't believe it's been 6.5 years, what a good time to be alive while Flight Rising exists, especially with such a largely accepting and ethical community!

idk why but i feel super nostalgiac when looking at old irishim gembond dergs like i wasnt even here for that but i remember it somehow??? sometimes im like "ah yes 2014 back when the t/g ratio was like 500:1 and massive dom pushes were so fun" and then i go "bruh you didnt even have your own email back then"

I've not been active on this account long, as my old one got removed last year (actual heartbreak) but I first made my other account in 2014. I love that its still a (relatively small) community and in general the other players are so friendly and inclusive :))))

i remember joining during one of the last few welcome weeks! Really made me feel special and now I try to help newbies along too. Love this game, man.

I still remember the ay I got a PM from a random user gifting me a pair of gossamer silks for Auriel. To newbie me they were super expensive and it was as if they had given me the rarest thing ever. xD
I lowkey miss closed registration because it was fun to watch the forums prepare newbie packages and greet all the new players and I don't really see much of that nowadays.
