I have been lowkey obssessed with the idea of wintercoat tundras since I started playing this game, which is like literal years, so I decided to do A Thing, it's messy, but here how I think they miight look like Tough I think maybe more floof, I wish Crim and Pinkerton changed coats during winter ;w; it would be awesome to see official art with winter coat tundras *sigh* [s]May do some better art later[/s]

haha nice.
i think it would completely cover the membranes on their wings so that delicate skin is more protected from the extreme cold. wings become a long fur cape essentially.

Yes! It's stated in their species description that their coat coverage changes with their temperatures, so it's a bit odd to me that their art doesn't really reflect that. Instead they opted to.. put part of their body in their winter coat, part of their body in their summer coat. Which I think is a big reason I don't really like them, their fur just looks odd to me...
Having some art where they have their full coat would be so nice though!

I love tundras! Big floofs :D In the encyclopedia page it says: "During the summer season Tundra dragons shed their winter coats, leaving their body covered in a much finer coat of fur, the hindquarters and lower wings exposed." Since the site art shows the summer coat, and it does clearly show the hindquarters and lower wings with short fur, I decided to make a BIG FLUFFY TUNDRA! Behold, wintercoat tundra: A big fluffy floof!
??? They're fully in their summer coat! Their art absolutely reflects it, it's well and truly entirely the summer coat and the encyclopedia page goes over this. [emoji=tundra laughing size=1] Anyways. FLUFFY TUNDRAS!! The rendition in the original post is also really good I just wanted to make my own big fluffy tundra covered in magnificent floof :D
