How often does the Gilded Decorative Chest trade show up at Swipp? I've been checking and checking but no dice.

About as often as every other trade. However, you might want to do some AH checking instead.
The Swipp trade takes 5 gold ore and 3 Rusted treasure chests.
Gold ore is currently in the AH for 26g and Gilded Decorative Chests are at 30g. You'd be better off selling your gold ore and buying the chests with them.

Have you checked the Gem MP for Gene and Breed scrolls before buying an AH listing from me ending in 5g?
