Some offspring are really pretty and others are reaallly not..?

I kind of want to breed a couple of mine for lore reasons, but at the same time some of their kiddos would be straight up friggen ugly

Agreed. Ignore the ones you don't like and put links to the relationships that matter in the dragon bio if you care enough.

I will (try to) get 1000 new familiars in 1 year - Complete!
If want kids from a lore pair, but their kids are ugly, I usually just put a full-coverage skin or a ton of apparel on them!

I like pairs with a huge range of kids so the pretty ones feel special. c; My progen has like 500 kids but I've only kept 5 of them.

I pride myself on having beautiful dragons, but a lot of their offspring are just straight up ugly

For example, my favorite pair, Juniper and Carnelian, recently had three hatchlings but I wound up only keeping one of them
