Am I the only one who actually likes the yellow accents in Lapis?
Lapis Lazulis, the gem the color is based on, sometimes has yellow or gold accents in it.
Plus the contrasting colors is kinda nice.
I also get summer vibes or lullaby vibes from lapis when it has the yellow accent.
I dunno...I just end up feeling disappointed when a gene doesn't get Lapis's yellow accents added in...

I love Lapis' yellow accents, but I love that there are some options when you don't want the accent color, too. Sometimes you want the yellow, and sometimes you just want the blue— same with colors like Radioactive. I love the accent colors a lot but sometimes I just want the ability to keep it green because the scry works better without the accent color.

Lapis is neat, but if the accent doesn't work with the dragon, then you have the option of genes with no accent, which will only show the blue.

I refuse...
I LOVE lapis for the yellow accents (and browns it brings in sometimes too) I've got a
little collection of lapis g1s in my den because I like it so much.
But I appreciate that there's some genes that use other accent colors, so I don't mind too much when a gene doesn't give lapis the yellow tones. But when they do it's extra nice.

I'm not as keen on the lemon-y yellow accents in lapis flaunt and flair, but in general I really appreciate the bold and/or contrasting accents that come out in some colors/genes.

Lapis's gold accent is the only thing differentiating it from other generic blues. It's really the main selling point for me.

[center]I'm no good with lapis. I have a Lapis/Iris/Iris dragon and I have no idea how to gene for it. Closest I get is this scry but I'm iffy on it/lapis.

Yes!! That's because Lapis Lazuli (rock) contains Lazurite (mineral) and occasionally Calcite (white; mineral) and Pyrite (gold; mineral). Lapis is one of my favourite colours, I freaking adore Pin/Tra and Jag/Ros.

tapie striation might not look the most like the rock, but it sure is pretty
