I just bought this dragon for 500 gems. Now that sounds incredibly steep, but I thought, I have a few eggs from Night of the Nocturne, so why don't I just sell, what, two of them, and make it back? Yes I understand it will cost 2000 gems. But....... Considering what I am, and am not, likely to get from opening 2 eggs....... Isn't this a ridiculously good deal for me, so much so that I really ought to feel bad? [b]Why in the world would I ever open eggs? WHY WOULD ANYONE?![/b]

I think people who like to open eggs understand that there's little financial benefit of doing so, and they're willing to pay the sunk cost for the thrill of gambling.
