ive been shocked at how well this game holds up. some days i only log on to grab the free stuff and keep my well fed bonus, others i spend hours and hours on here. it reminds me of when animal crossing new horizons was released, but i actually burned out quicker on that bc i used time travel. ive been playing online pet games since neopets as a kid, but finding one that doesnt feel like its kids-only has been awesome. plus, i think this is a good way to find autistic community :)
im curious how long other people have been playing with or without long breaks? this game doesnt have much for end points, so it seems like it could continue indefinitely...five months and i am not even close to bored!

I made my account in November 2014 but took a long hiatus in December 2014 that lasted until May 2015. I got into the forums not that long after my return.
I've played FR consistently ever since with no hiatuses since the 2014 one.
I think the forums is what really keeps me around, I was initially apprehensive of them coming from Neopets where the community can be rather toxic, but FR's community was so chill and nice in comparison I started to prefer it to Neopets.

I've taken like mini-hiatuses like twice where I only logged on to do daily gathering and feeding that lasted for about 3-4 months or so but I still count them as me playing xD

other than a hiatus for most of 2017 (or '18, not sure which but I know I didn't play for a year or so) I've been playing since 2015!
Have had times where I've gotten burned out but unlike other games that I played and then lost interest in, like AJ, Neopets or Pokefarm, FR just kept reeling me back in
It helps the community is great too!

A year and a few months! I've done dailies pretty much from the beginning, with a brief break of about a month or so when I didn't have internet access.

I started in 2017 and played consistently for a couple years but now I have been playing on and off every so often.
7 Years, 2 Months, 21 Days... wow, that's a long time! I have taken hiatuses in that time but even during those I tended to stop by, just to feed my dragons and gather.

But I took a long hiatus starting sometime in 2016 and only returned shortly before Rockbreaker's last year. And so many things have changed or were added since then that I feel like I'm just new to the site XD
