Flight Rising Discussion

Nearly 4 years on FR, and still got my free flight change and it is looking mighty fine right now.

I’m not sure if I’d like to go through with it, but my top two picks have to be wind (all the art is there which is fitting but also I can gain these powers by proximity) or earth (the lore is so cool and I love their deity and just vibe)

But fire is also my baby… it is very special to me

Pros:
The eyes are objectively the best no I don’t take criticism
Flambebe
Metalworking pog
Soup kitchen
Whenever I see a fellow fire member it’s like spotting a close friend you live 600 miles away from

Oaughe. Help me out here guys, should I go for a flight change or Nah? How’s the forums and vibe of people? For those who’ve switched in and out of flights, how was it? Did you get regret?

I'm biased but Wind all the way baby. Joined in 2014, took a brief vacation in Ice, came back, and I'm never leaving again. (probably) Full of friendly people + you could join in time for MistJam this month!

I only regret my flight changes because it's so expensive. But it's fun to change.

I would say earth if you had to pick. The eyes are very pretty and the history/lore of it seems so cool! @Syndasch might be able to tell you more :D

I'm here to vouch for wind! While I feel like I should be advertising my own flight, the wind eyes match well with plenty of designs since they're pastel-green and from what I know of the community, wind is active and friendly.

Earth does have the benefits of the most neutral eyes besides light, and of course being absolute beasts in dominance.

I was in Wind for about 5 years and the environment was always very welcoming and friendly! Heard good things about Earth too from in-flight friends but can vouch for Wind personally :)

So is wind tbh,,, struggle to pick lol Main thing about Earth is that is has the best Dominance track record alongside Light, if that’s important to you. The Earth primal is good as well (though wind primal is def better). I’m not super entrenched in the Earth-exclusive-forums, to be honest, and can’t say much about that. So yeah [b]in my opinion[/b] Earth is better—but not by that much.

I’m actually fire myself lol, but I say go for it! I flight changed from arcane to fire and didn’t regret it a bit. If you end up disliking it, you can always come back here! :)

I’d probably say earth since I prefer the eyes + aesthetic + sweet dom discounts, but go with whatever you want
