So I have a gen 1 and a 2 letter dragon that I was considering giving a silhouette scroll. But I was curious like having a bred gen 1, does giving it a silhouette scroll decrease the value drastically as you cannot remove the symbol once it's on there?

It's unlikely - people not liking symbols is fairly niche, and given there's the breeding status and familiar symbols you can just block them if you don't want to see them. Generally it's just extra options.

Most adblockers will do it. Some people block the withdraw buttons on the vault to help them save!

I think there's like, a handful of users who dislike the symbols - and even then, the symbols serve a purpose unlike kids so I think for most people it wouldn't decrease the value
But I don't think anyone would pay more than [dragon's worth without the scroll] + [scroll's worth] so I don't see why you'd wanna apply that - if they wanna buy your dragon and scroll it, the buyer can do it themself :D
It's kinda like how putting non-gem-genes on g1's don't increase the value more than the scroll's worth because most people re-gene them anyway

Highlighting the above part! I also agree that it may overall not decrease the value of your dragon, there isn't an increase in value, either. Most people wouldn't consider the scroll a bonus on a dragon in the same way color combinations would be.

Adding onto this, the only silhouette scroll dragon I own I bought secondhand, for way less than the value of the scrolls that had been applied to them already, and that included the silhouette scroll. It's like giving your dragon a WC scroll; the lowest value I see for G1 WCs, even triple-gened, is always [i]under[/i] 2000g, while the current market value for actual scrolls is well above 2000g.
