Just a moment ago i made post to a forum game and realized the most awful thing: I pinged the wrong person…. On the wrong page. God knows how many years ago they made that post, I was so paralyzed with fear I don't even check, I just deleted instantly and noped right out of there! It's almost as bad as getting ninja’d right as you press the send button

It's funny that you mention the Forum Games sections, because this ALWAYS happens to me there. I don't know if it's a lay out issue, but from the page where all the newly updated topics are, you can click on the "last page" of those topics, but it won't actually be the last page. Instead it's like 6 pages before the last page...
I've pinged so many people by accident because I thought I was viewing the last page, hence thinking I was viewing the previous poster! I also get embarrassed but I kind of figured everyone has had to of done this same thing before, right?

that's mostly because of the way forums work. they kind of... weren't built to have 4000+ pages. i really hope staff covered this when they're refactoring things.

Yes, a handful of times. Twice I misspelt a name - and god knows how many times I mispinged due to the forum games.

I'm sure I've done it before, though I typically copy/paste the username to avoid doing so.

90% of my name change reasoning was name. I was called silianclan, but there was a silan and silin and a few other similar named clans, plus there were others being pinged for my old name being misspelled. So many people don't realize how having an easily spelled name can help you on this site and how having an odd/difficult name can be an issue.
