i know it's been a long wait, but staff has been trying their best to maintain the growing site, add new features, and continue the current lore all at the same time. especially with covid, i know that would make me extremely overwhelmed. i know i have writing projects that have taken that long. i don't think it's fair to give them a hard time :o/

Tbh It's nice to finally nice to have a reason for why this is taking so long and I don't blame them for that. I'm sure that when this adventure/campaign mode comes out and the finale of the Tidelord plot line will be amazing once it's done

I did. It's a little sad to know it will take a long time, but I honestly appreciate staff addressing it at all. I find it comforting to know that they didn't just forget about Tidelord entirely. I think the post shows that they care about making an experience that people will enjoy. [emoji=familiar heart size=1]

Agreed. Also considering most pet sites aren't raking in money, so they're working with a small staff and have still been pumping out regular updates (including some much awaited ones like aberrations), and our normal updates (festivals and such)...I want adventure mode as much as the next person, but I feel like we've had a good amount of updates. It stinks that it's not the answer to the huge lore questions, but I can see how those got pushed back considering the features they're tied too.

This. Writing can take a [i]long[/i] time, especially if you also have a bunch of other stuff going on as well.

Exactly, and they have to consider all the possibilities and the affects it will have on other things and player suggestions. All that. BoTE lore is pretty complicated
