I am a Java Edition modder, I've been working on a mod that takes VERY heavy inspiration from Lightning themed magitech, and I've been trying to figure out if it breaks the site's TOS. The modding platform disallows any selling of mods (It breaks Mojang TOS if you do sell mods), so that won't be an issue, but I don't know if it'd be still breaking TOS on here. If there are stipulations for the release of said project (like links and references to this site, telling people that the base idea was inspired by this site and it's content, or anything else), I am willing to comply.

I think it would be okay? It’s inspiration rather than direct copy, you’re crediting the site, and you’re not getting any money from it… I don’t see it any different than writing FR fan fiction off site (which is fine). I’m not an expert, but it sounds fine to me

You're not stealing any assets, just taking inspiration. I'm no lawyer but I can't see why this wouldn't be allowed.

FR didn't invent magitech, deserts that RUN on magitech, or even the super chunky gear-design-heavy aesthetic interpretation of such. :P Unless it's a 1:1 copy of the bigger and more noteworthy buildings, you're probably fine regardless of ToS unless you name it using FR-trademarked names.
Even if it is a 1:1 design tho, last I checked it was fine for something fan related like MC mods where there is no money exchanging hands. They have gotten... finicky about real-world craft items before, but I don't recall a time where digital projects that weren't attempts to re-create FR got them too excited. They are free to prove me wrong, of course.

The only potential issue is possible in the name, but even then it's more like a reference (The name is "Golden Spark"), and I'm willing to rename it.
