Do y'all check up on your favorite dragons parents? Do you think they're proud of your leader dragon? In regards to ratios of permanent dragons in peoples lairs vs. number of dragons to ever exist, many dragons have been exalted. I think it's kinda neat if your dragon has parents in a living lair too
I dunno, the mother of my clan leader and his sister is a long time old perma of her users clan. I find myself checking up on her. Her mate was exalted a long time ago, but I remember checking up on him sometimes too. I just kinda wonder if her user has seen her dragons son and daughter are active in living lairs and have lore, and if she thinks thats cool too.

It funny cause sometimes i do the opposite where i go my favourites and check what their kids are up to. And well most of them are exalted but sometimes i find some dragons with its own lore and story and its kinda neat to click on its parents to see that they are my dragons haha [emoji=fae happy size=1]

although most of my dragons are g1s, i do occasionally check up on some of my older g2+ dragons' parents! it seems like a lot of them are still around. i think there's only one or two that have been exalted!

the other day i checked one of my fodder pairs offspring and one of them is a hatchery dragon with tons of beloved offspring themselves! cobalt and cloudchaster proud grandparents

sometimes if i get bored i'll poke around their bloodlines and end up in a rabbithole 10+ generations away from my original dragon. it's really fun...a little frustrating to see people make choices i don't like but whatever. it makes up for all the exalts and odd breeding decisions to find one of my project dragons' great-great to the 200th power grandson with a swag outfit and full lore

i haven't been on the site long enough to see that far into my dragon's kids bloodlines but i hope to someday : o i pretty much always try to incorporate a dragon's parents into their lore because it makes thinks more interesting, i feel

I love seeing how the kids of mine are doing! But what I love even more is to see grandkids that are permas, that just makes me really happy for some reason

Oh well the parents of my
clan leader are some kind of hatchery couple. They always give Obs/gold/gold pearlies and skydancers and then they are sold on the AH for around 20kt each. That means many of my clan leader's siblings are perma dragons. But this makes almost all obs/gold/gold dragon in the site be related to mine! Someone randomly posted an all basic obs/gold/gold imperial, and even she was related to my clan leader! XD
