along those same lines, one time i found two dragons who were in the right range for a breeding project but somehow i couldn't breed them. and it took me 10 minutes to finally realize it was because they were both female.

...when you're trying to dress a dragon but you can't find apparel that matches what you had in mind T_T Some colors just don't seem to exist in more than one apparel set.
(Why is there so little head apparel that covers the snout? Most things only go around the horns/top of the head. The silk veils have the coverage I want but none of the colors match my dragons! Aaaaah!)

When my TWO SEPERATE green-range G1 pairs have BOTH failed to give me a SINGULAR Jungle/Forest/Green baby after SEVEN MONTHS OF CONSTANT BREEDING (they are plentifuls, so new nests every 15 days)
I don't breed for specific colors a whole lot, but I want at least 1 (please. please just let me have the 1) pure G2 Jungle/Forest/Green dragon to help bring some new blood into the Gladelings scene.

When I'm still struggling to decide whether I should or shouldn't buy a dragon, then worked myself through, and when I finally said YES I'LL DO IT to myself, the dragon is bought by someone else because I'm too slow ._.
The story will either end in buying them with a far higher price comparing to original price or never being able to get them, but most of the time I'm still happy to see those dragons chilling in other places.
(The reason I struggle to decide is that I usually don't exalt/sell dragons so if some dragon is in my lair they'll probably be there for a VERY LONG time, and also because of this I have less income source, pushing me to consider carefully & for a very long time orz
When you accidentally sell your breeding pair before getting the dragon you wanted. Managed to buy one back but the other was exalted.
When there's that perfect dragon for you out there that can't be replicated, and the user who owns it is semi-active but isn't willing to sell. It's their choice, and I respect that, but I'm still sad.
