May I request on the behalf of my self and not for others I dont know

items that feed carnivores but are veggie based or not made from living entities

I would just enjoy this as an inclusion to the game as food items.

I wish not that my stomach aches for meat
may our transmutations discover replacements
for my sick conscientious and allow there to be
meet of the old until we secretly weed it out gradually

if it has to die so we can find something new
then actaully i'd rather not make any of that stew
the dark arts are stagnated by their last actions
but any past action is a gate for repetition
Now let me make plant based stand ins

If you eat around the skull there's a cube that ought to suit as well.

As the person above said, just use soylent red if this is. An issue?

I don't really think this would work, because it wouldn't be meat, would it? It would be plants. You can't feed a cat plants in place of meat either, can ya? I think it's also good to remember that this is a game, no animals will ever be genuinely hurt by it because at the end of the day they're only flavor text and images to make feeding dragons more interesting. And not only that - but you can avoid owning dragons who eat meat, and use the selective feeding option in your settings to feed dragons who use multiple food types any other category of food you want.

I'm definitely not against more inventive food items because I find them fun, but like I said. If it's veggie based, it's not meat. Something like soylent red is the closest we got.

If this bothers you so much then enable selective feeding and only feed your dragons plants/insects. a plant eater monolair could also be cool

Soylent red would do the trick, but if meaty jelly isn't your thing I can understand why you'd like something else.

It would be funny if they made like a tofu or jackfruit kind of meal that 'counts' as meat AND plant at the same time, so both kinds of dragons can eat it.

Or maybe an 'impossible burger' type food with a similar concept?

only partially related, since these are magic pixel creatures, but wouldn't a carnivorous animal get sick and/or die if it doesn't have meat? since its body is built for that and not being an omnivore.

is very likely to take your posts literally - has difficulty discerning if tone is joking

I don't think this would be a great idea (in this context), because strict-carnivores can't be vegetarian - it would make them extremely sick or kill them. Humans can be vegetarians cause we're omnivores, so for the omnivorous dragons it'd be fine - but specifying that the carnivores should be able to be vegetarian... no. Absolutely not. I get that it's a fantasy world and all but that would leave a real bad taste in my mouth considering there's people who do try to force their carnivorous pets to be vegetarian. I don't want that reflected here. [Edit: Lifeseeker got there before me whoop
only partially related, since these are magic pixel creatures, but wouldn't a carnivorous animal get sick and/or die if it doesn't have meat? since its body is built for that and not being an omnivore. Those are made from non-living things, and since Baldwin can make actual living creatures it's still.. probably meat enough to be good for carnivores.
