I wouldn't, personally. I just quit a different petsim site and one of the top reasons as to why was that most of the "pets" that I could get all had an expiration date, and it cost an absurd amount of money to prevent them from dying at the cost of all of their abilities to participate in site features.
I also know that even in the early days, the idea of dragons being able to die was an incredibly controversial one.
What about now, though? I'd like some fresh thoughts on the concept, even though we can basically be certain that the feature will never be considered. Just a fun question. :>c

Depends. Old age & Coliseum? No thanks, I enjoy casual grinding with my permas too much, plus if it’s going to die from old age, what’s the point of decking them out with apparel, lore, UMAs, etc.

Absolutely not, I'm here to relax and escape stress and problems of my real life. If FR ended up adding more stress and even grief to my life I'd stop playing for sure.
That said, I support people killing off dragons for lore reasons and I might do something like that myself one day. But that's a private and personal thing people explore through lore and not a game mechanic imposed onto everyone.

If it were just death by starvation, I'd still play because I keep my dragons well-fed and never really go on a complete hiatus, but I'd find it a lot harder to recommend FR to other people. Most of my friends made accounts and then went inactive and only sign in like once a year when I'm gushing about something, and it'd be rough to see all their dragons die just because they don't play :/ FR is really friendly to returning players and a variety of play styles, which is a big point in its favor.
TLDR; if they only die if I don't feed them, I'd still play but would be very salty about it on behalf of other players
