I actually started in Earth, back when the site was pretty new, but moved to Nature a few years later.
Obviously I'm uh...I'm back in Earth, haha! I missed the aesthetic so much ;; I have friends in Fire, Plague, and Light but the [i]dirt called to me.[/i]

lightning has such an amazing community, i really miss it. but i am also extremely at home in the land of purple and soft glow, and i don't think i can leave it
if i were rich i would spend the winterish months in shadow and the summery months in lightning so i could be in each flight for their festial,but that is so many gems and i need to save up for those retired fams

I started in shadow but changed quick to plague cuz aesthetic, n haven't really looked back
But then, few years later, i took vacation to lightning, an after like 3 months i already wanted to go back to Plague
so do what feels right for you.

I was in Lightning, and 2014-era Lightning was so friggin arrogant, so friggin smug that I had to bail out as soon as possible.
Seriously, acting like they invented spreadsheets and were all smart and scientific.
Now, I'm in Earth, but idk if I really want to stay. I'd love to be completely flightless, because I no longer care for that aspect of the site. There are good apples in every flight, and I don't really see flights as much of a positive anymore.
I really mean it, I'd love to not have a flight at all! I don't mind if it locks me out of breeding, but I actually enjoy coli and exalting, so that's a problem.

When I first started off in 2015, I was in Shadow, but I quickly learned that Shadow is way too cold for my tastes, so I moved to Nature. Then lastly I moved to Lightning and this is where I belong. Deserts and savannas, my beloved

I started in Plague but then moved to Wind. Sometimes I long to return to Plaguemom, but I feel too at home in Wind to actually change.

I started off in Lightning because I had a frankly unhealthy relationship to work/ work ethic and it spoke to me at the time. Corviknight has a great point about 2014-era Lightning and that attitude spoke to me before I was healthy enough to break out of it. My old flight and its lore just didn't vibe with me once I got some therapy in me; the modern Lightning community isn't like it was, but the unhealthy work ethic is baked into the lore and that's... no longer me.
I've enjoyed the site so much more since I moved to ice. Just so much pressure on myself lifted. And I feel a lot freer to breed whatever kinds of dragons I want (Rainbow butterfly triad my beloved) because Ice has eyes that go with almost anything and I don't feel pressured to pick certain colors for aesthetic reasons. Ice's community is pretty laid back, but I've never been much of a community oriented creature and that's less important to me.
Do what makes you happy. I haven't looked back once, but a lot of people switch it up. That person who's doing their Around the World in 11 Primals challenge switches about every 6 months but is still a Windie at heart, and a ton of people take vacations. I can't see myself ever leaving Ice, but I said the same about Lightning for the longest time, so who knows. This place feels more right for me.

honestly, not really! i started in arcane and then moved to wind before settling here in plague. plague feels like home to me, i really don't miss my old flights at all. i never really vibed in either of those spaces. plague is so incredibly warm and welcoming while also being unabashedly weird.
