What is the best way to go abo in t training a level 25? I don’t have three dragons, so I can’t really train up a team. Would there be a user in item sales that would be interested in an item trade?
Anyone have any experience in training a team, how long does it take?

First of all, welcome to Flight Rising! If you want to get into the coli, I recommend reading this guide. While it is a little outdated now (ex. mire flier build), it is still very useful.

Now, training a lvl 25 team from scratch? It would depend on how much time you dedicate towards the coli. It could take a few days, or it could take months.

Alternatively, you could save up money and buy a lvl 25 dragon from someone. But I think training a dragon yourself would be much more satisfying. It's ultimately your choice, though.

I'd definitely recommend saving up for a lvl 25 rather than trying to lvl up dragons from scratch. Ive tried to done so myself and it was practically impossible. If you wanna try and level a derg still but dont wanna start from complete scratch then i'd get maybe a level 10 or so off the auction house. The woodland path and scorched forest are unreasonably difficult when trying to lvl dragons from complete scratch. I could even train one of your dragons to lvl 10 for you if you want

for a and b, you can easily get the money for it within 3-4 days of fairgrounds using g&g! i have a tool if you need it with credit in the link.
a) you can buy a level 25 for the ah! lowest right now is 220g or 230k treasure, which is similar pricing to the below option:
b) you can look on the items for sale forum and find somebody that can train your own dragon to level 25. i know some reliable people for this, though it may take a few days. the reliable people usually have a few pages on their thread and no complaints, and you should be able to trust them!
c) you can train a team yourself somehow? i think i would perish if i tried this, so i probably wouldn't recommend, especially if you have low motivation or are often busy. option b is likely a better idea than this.
d) you can rent somebody's level 25 to use yourself (obviously make sure to return it if you do this). this varies in price based on trust levels and the person, and i don't actually know an estimate because the last time i did this was a while ago. this also isn't a bad idea, because it helps you get coli loot too!

edit: removed the parts i said you can't do any dragon trades, i see you got one other than your progen LOL

@CrumbledCandy I recommend looking into your flight's dom services to see if they offer to lend level 25s out if you want to level your own dragons faster.

Otherwise buying a level 25 could be the way to go.

A side note: your progens (1st two dragons the game gives you) can't leave your lair! If you want to train either of them you'll have to do it yourself.

Any other dragon you buy, adopt, hatch, or breed can be sent out to be leveled by other players if you choose to use a leveling service (dragon must be an adult + named to enter the coliseum though!)

I got my first team to level in a couple weeks but that was me being lazy lol. My current trainee team is stuck at lvl 16 cos I haven't had the motivation for the Coli after that last dom battle
