There's been a ton of avatar talk recently, and it's got me thinking.
I've had this same goofy avatar for years now, but now I'm really tempted to change it.
But I don't know what to pick.
Anyone have any advice? How did you pick your avatar?
Edit: I changed my avatar after considering people's comments, so when I say "goofy avatar" I'm referring to this picture XD

I just choose my current skrimblo
one of the first dragons i got, was pretty, slapped some neat apparel on him thatd show up in the box and chose a vista to match
not too much thought haha- might change it to my random progen sometime now that hes gened and has some apparel thatd shown up in the box

I usually change whenever I feel like it, and it's usually to someone I want my avatar to be at the moment. However, it's been nearly a year since I last changed - the longest I've ever gone without changing. Pylon was my statue obelisk, so when they came out, I changed my avatar to him to reflect that. He's just stuck for me; it'd feel weird to change it now.

Progen forever and always
I go with whoever best matches the holiday, the time of year, the vista I'm really loving currently, or my current favorite dragon/the one I just splurged on. My current icon has a cool skin I wanted to look at for a while!

... I end up with a lot of spirals

I have no set avatar. I sometimes change mine like 5 times a day. I just like rotating through my dragon too much to choose just one.
