i just looked in my hib den and there were just a bunch of dergs that i didnt even really want. i had made very loose plans for them but they could easily be replaced.
i had a full basic fae, and his 2/3 basic son, that i was just keeping. i got him as a fodder breeder eons ago and have since stopped fodder breeding. ive pretended i was attached but really? i dont care that he's gone.

Yep. I just purged a 3 yo, level 25, fully statted and stoned imp with art because I just got so, So tired of looking at him. He found a new home with someone else and seems to be getting the care he deserves, at least! Godspeed, Phantom.
I'm also considering purging one of my gal abbys for the same reason. She just isn't sparking the same amount of joy that she used to. [emoji=spiral sad size=1]

Dom battles reduce the size of my perma-lair considerably.

This is why DOM battles are such a godsend. Great motivation to trim your lair and get rid of some slackers.

Me coming back from hiatus. I think I've purged at least half of what my lair was because I just didn't care about them anymore. Honestly it was probably even more than that, I had a LOT of dragons I didn't care about. Still kinda do, but I'm working myself up to getting rid of them.

yep, i purged a good number of dragons a while back because they just didn't matter too much to me. also some of them were downright ugly, and newbie me didn't know that so i got attached. but really, i don't miss them.

Me when I came back to the site. Looked at all the dragons me from like 3 years ago had collected, and just thought "What was I thinking?". To like all of them.
Made switching to a G1 lair easier though. Much more satisfied and interested in staying around now.

I have an unfortunate habit not to save my projects anywhere. Not even a scry picture in dragon bio. There are times when I come across dragons in my lair and cannot remember what was the plan for them. They keep hanging in my lair until I remember their plan if so or decide to do something else with them.

this happens to me constantly, only the 4 dragons on my front page and a few in the next page are 100% permas- Its why I don't have many dragons
