Hello! So I joined a while ago, forgot, and now I am back. I've been lurking in the forums, cause why not. I've been seeing a phrase a lot lately, where a user says a lair is all about the aesthetic? Or I think it was used about the light flight or something?

It may be referring to
The Elemental Flight: sometimes people just really like the aesthetic of a flight, and incorporate it into their lair. Or they may join a Flight explicitly because of a Flight's aesthetics (like desiring the eye color or preferring the banner art, etc)
Certain colors: the person may just love blue and create an aesthetic around it
Just fashionable style: a person may not even like the aesthetic of their dragons, but they have successfully achieved a certain look just for the sake of achievement (EX: "I hate frills, but I really nailed this posh princess look on this dragon)
Numerous other possibilities
Basically, if someone's lair is just for aesthetics, it means their dragons are only for looks - not really for breeding, maybe not for lore, and maybe not for Coli. Of course, numerous people use their aesthetic dergs for everything! Some just have them for ornaments to admire!

An example would be someone with all brown/earthy dragons or someone who only has pastels! Of course, not everyone has a set "lair aesthetic" or theme that they stick to; it's all about preference!
A lot of people will say Light aesthetic or Nature aesthetic, or an aesthetic theme for any flights. Currently it is the Light Flight celebration, the Brightshine Jubilee, so a lot of people are getting the limited festival items and talking about their "aesthetic" because Light Flight festival apparel is very versatile and popular!
