So in the encyclopedia, the obelisks are described as standing guard as standing guard as statues. And with the obelisk´s inspiration source, I believe most people would envision this stuff.

The first one's not a gargoyle, it's a foo dog (even though it's based off a lion), also called a Chinese guardian lion in English.

The Obelisks did start as statues, but then they came to life(? Still no clue how that worked). I don't do much with obelisks, since I have a ton of trouble dressing them, but Flecks could be a good tert for some obelisks

I’m just imagining they come out of their stone state and crack their back like a bowl of rice krispies and their mouth feels like when you sleep with your mouth open
Bonus points if there’s a bug in their mouth when they wake up

Achaius Those with red eyes remind me of spy movie lol. The spy understands theres obelisks hidden around, and they have to dodge their line of sight like a sneaking mission in a video game.
