Flight Rising Discussion

I've been in Wind ever since [s]I started playing[/s] I used my free flight change to swap from Shadow. Been here a solid year now, and while I love the aesthetic, I've been falling out of love with it a bit. More and more, I find reasons to switch to Light flight. The aesthetic is gorgeous (really I like every flight's aesthetic), the eyes go with everything, the primal is probably my favorite out of all of them, I've heard it's pretty active with dom pushes, and it would fit my lore well! I also think it'd be really funny if I end up in literally the opposite flight of the one I started in [emoji=pearlcatcher tongue size=1] Problem is, as said above, I already used my free flight change. That's the main reason I'm posting this, because I wanna know what Light flight is like before I start saving up. Plus, there's a bunch of Wind stuff I really like, and I'm worried I might regret it. So tell me all about Light! See if you can give me that final push [emoji=pearlcatcher winking size=1]

I used my free flight change on light and I don't regret it! I mainly did it because yellow eyes are so universal they fit with any color combo (except plague reps maybe? but i mean my plague rep is a wind dragon rofl)

i’ve been in light over a year now, and i honestly don’t think i’ll be moving anytime soon - i’d definitely recommend you join us! here are some pointers off the top of my head;

light has a wonderful community with a super active discord server (if you’re into that).

like you said, our eye colour can go with most dragons, so if you’re a breeding lair you don’t have to worry so much about eye colours.

light isn’t as active as it used to be with dom pushes, but we still have multiple pushes per year. i’m not much of a dom person, but i’ve participated in a few of the pushes as i feel like the dom team here makes them fun and engaging.

as for lore, i find that you can do a lot of things with light. if you wanted, i feel like you’d easily be able to find a way to mix your current lore with light.
from what i’ve seen, wind flight is often known as the “travelling” flight. it’s not uncommon to see windies take vacations in other flights!

[color=brown]I used to be in Arcane, and while it was nice, I needed dominance bonuses. So far I've been in Light for 4 years and I don't regret it at all.
