Ppl don't appreciate fae as much as they should. It's the neck, innit? They're the whole reason i joined fr, so use this thread to talk about why u like fae!

oh, faes are lovely! i love their butterfly vibes, head shape, cute eyes and how nicely secondary genes sometimes look on their cheek fins! however, they are such a challenge to draw ":D i own an unexcusably low amount of them, though. but the ones i own i love really hard and can't see them as any other breed [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/44165689][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/441657/44165689_350.png[/img][/url]

discovering the neck just made Fae even better for me. It adds a lovely eldritch body horror aspect.

Actively trying to stop myself from making all my hatchery breeding pairs have a fae. So far it’s not working, and let’s not talk about my scries xP They just fit so many genes, and I personally find them one of the best breeds to fit apparel; there’s something about their pose and shape that makes capes, shirts, hats, etc look fantastic. Fae are amazing for displaying wing genes and some primaries and terts also. They're also really nice for eye types and accent creativity due to the large wing are coverage.

A lot of apparel pieces can be seen from different angles and look pretty unique compared to other poses. Not only that but, due to their vaguely humanoid posture, they ROCK some of the apparel that I cannot make work on other breeds.

Edit: OH YEAH, some Iri/Shim colours look fantastic on them, particularly the old ones, I love them so much

I love Faes, but I don't have a lot of them. Faes are awesome!! While I don’t really love female Fae pose- Fae male is a lifesaver for me when scrying. Butterfly fae female is top quality dragon. So Beautiful!
I think they get less love because they're "plentiful."
