So I know fire is trying to get dominance for their holiday next week and since Ice had it this week it's harder for them to gain dominance, but here I see them in second place and im a bit worried that they may catch up on poor fire flight :(

Ice has been 'caught up' for three or four days now. Really, 'catching up' was easy, because no one else is exalting.
I'm only going to be concerned if ice manages to pass fire.

I'll be extremely sad and disappointed if Ice gets dominance for next week. I know the Light flight didn't get their dominance during their festival because it was the first flight holiday and no one thought about it until afterwards. I know that dominance is a competition but isn't the flight holidays about putting aside our differences and celebrating that flight

I highly doubt ice will overtake. Ice is not exalting--there is only one member of ice exalting against the entire of fire flight.
Overtaking 9 flights that aren't exalting is easy.

Its annoying that ice is so money hungry they have to try to take it again this week since the sky dancers werent released for the entire week for them to make their profit with the marketplace discount.

Would be an incorrect statement, wouldn't it? Because it's not 'all of lightning flight', it's one person.
Also, the user exalting really doesn't have anything to do with being 'money hungry'. They're losing money solo-exalting.

Just reiterating here - no one else is trying for dominance. This means that 2nd place is incredibly easy to get. Only worry if Ice reaches 1st place at any point.

Feel free to check for yourself. As of about 10 minutes ago they were exalting. Go look at the cheapest hatchlings and refresh a few times.
It's a single user.
Said user does what they want--and as I said, if they were doing it for money, they would be doing a very stupid thing. They are absolutely going to lose more money then they gain, and they're unlikely to even win.
