~Inspired by the many beautiful dragons being undercut and sold away without much love~ [center][u]The Priceless Project[/u][/center] Our current economic state is-interesting... For lack of a better term. While I do not oppose dragon mills, breeding to sell and caring less about the babies, I shiver at the thought of dragons so unwanted that they can have triple genes and be sold off for 5k, a quick penny. I am guilty of it, especially in the need of quick cash, but by adding at least and extra 2k or so... But do as you must, I am not certain how we can get our economy back on track. I have summoned you all here to focus on the dragons... This is Priceless... [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=812339] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/8124/812339_350.png[/img] [/url] Sold in the ah for 4050, the cheapest dragon in there at the moment. While I was immediately enticed by the contrast between his eyes and wings, I chose him as a tribute to all of the beautiful dragons who are priced as common dirt. As a tribute, I think it would be fitting that clans refresh the ah and buy the cheapest dragon in there, and give it a home, name it Priceless. I have my doubts about this project, but it's the least I can do in our times. Thanks for listening ^^

[img]http://assets0.ordienetworks.com/images/GifGuide/clapping/riker.gif[/img] My two cents about this whole dilemma is that people are just putting things in the auction house and thinking that their dragons are worth it over everyone elses which drives the overall price down due to competition. My thoughts are unless you have a friend that specifically has a reservation or something and it doesn't have some magically awesome color/gene you should exalt it, or save it to exalt in your flight's push. It will slowly return the economy to a better state when it isn't flooded with mediocre dragons. I understand one man's (or woman's) trash is another's treasure, but really, we aren't helping anyone by selling 1.5k over exalt price. Enter a flight exalt raffle at least.

I went ahead with this and browse the cheapest dragons for about two pages before stumbling across this beautiful girl for only 4k. [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/8128/812771_350.png[/img] I've decided to incorporate her into my Clan's story and create a character for her. c: I'm probably going to have to give her a musically-themed name to fit in story-wise, but, I really like this idea.

Once I get my next 5 slots of lair space, I think I'll participate! (saving 30k more currently as the next upgrade is 150k.... ._.)

I have my own dragon that I picked up for what I feel was far less than he was worth already... I didn't name him Priceless, because I bought him yesterday before I saw this project and he is going to be the mate to a skydancer girl I hatched yesterday, but I adore him, and he's totally my totem for this project.
