I would like to begin this thread with a tribute to those who have assisted me in my effort to fully know at which rates the enemies in the coliseum appear:

@Ammoth, for their thread that started my original interest

The Mission

In order to better understand the rates at which individual enemies in the coliseum appear, this project has been created to facilitate the gathering and organization of the statistical representation of every enemy's encounter rate. The important question of where to grind most efficiently during festivals can be answered with this data, and the purpose of this thread is to generate interest in the general population of Flight Rising so that this information can be more widely accessed, and hopefully this project will encourage further participation in the recording of this data by more and more members of the Flight Rising community~!




If you wish to help us get more accurate information for the Coliseum Encounter Rates Project, please feel free to post to this thread! All help is greatly appreciated - the only way to make sure our information is as accurate as possible is to get as much data recorded as we can!

Things we've learned while participating in the Coliseum Encounter Rates Project:
  • This data is more accurate than the numbers that just assume each enemy group has the same chance of appearing, since in reality the chances are different for each pack of enemies to appear.

  • Deciding where to grind based on how many enemies of a given element are in an area isn't the best either, since two enemies can add up to anywhere between 7% and 17%, and one enemy can be as much as 13% or as little as 1%.

  • More data means our numbers are more accurate - statistics is a tricky business, and the numbers can be misleading, and the only way to be sure of our results is to get as many people as possible to give us a hand! I can't do it by myself~!
