Who doesn't love a good spreadsheet? See mine in action!
I wanted to make a familiar tracker that would be able to do everything I wanted it to, and thought I'd share. It's a little more complicated than the other ones out there, so if you'd like a simpler version, I'd recommend
heliel's [Tool] Familiar Tracker
Axikor's Simple Familiar Bonding Tracker
If you'd like to see what my Fancy sheet can do, please make a copy for yourself! (You will need to be signed in to your google account to do this.)
When I was opening up the copies with pictures, it took a little while for them all to load, but they did eventually! I'm hoping it will take less time in the future, when you open it.
Inside, you will find an Instructions tab, please let me know if anything isn't clear enough.
I made a video going over how to update the Familiar tab with the new familiars, how to add a new coliseum venue in the Reference tab, how to update the Overview tab, how to make a new filter view, and how to adjust to old ones.
Let me know if anything is unclear!
Next is an Overview tab, which shows you how many familiars you have, how many you have designated as 'Impossible', how many you have left to get (not including the 'Impossible' ones), and how many there are in total.
It also shows you how many you have from each Coliseum area, as well as the Market Place, Baldwin, Festival, Gathering, Retired, and Swipp.
At the bottom it tells you how many familiars you have in each category, how many Permanent familiars, and how many Lonely familiars. (Familiars who are not yet Awakened, but aren't paired with a dragon.)
Where you input all of your information! Acquired has three choices, 'Yes', 'No', and 'Impossible'.
'With Dragon' has 'Yes', 'No', and 'Permanent'. I have a few Familiars who I'm not switching out for lore reasons, and I wanted a way to indicate that. When 'Permanent' is selected, some of the cells in that row turn a pretty blue so you can see it.
'Dragon ID' will make a clickable link, so you can easily go to the dragon/familiar in question. If a dragon's ID is entered twice, the two cells will turn red so you can fix that.
'Name of Familiar' I would like to introduce you to Commander and Boris. ;)
'Level of Bonding' is a drop down where you choose the proper option. Each one will cause the proper amount of cells next to it to light up, so you can see your progress. A date is also automatically generated each time you change it. I wanted to have the dates generate in a way that wouldn't overwrite them, but I couldn't figure it out. ;__;
If you'd like to have your Familiars tab filtered by how you find the familiar (coliseum/Mire, as an example) I've set up Filter Views. If you go data>filter view> you can then choose one of approximately A MILLION views. Phewph.
**I have been told that this works best in Chrome. If you're having problems copying and pasting the values, try it in Chrome. Hopefully that will fix things!**
I'll add in the new familiars within a few days of being released, and put a tick in the 'new to sheet?' row on the familiars tab. You can the copy it from the master spreadsheet, insert a new row in the appropriate place on yours, and go edit>paste special>paste VALUES only. When something is in the 'new to sheet' the row will also turn green and the the text will italicize.

The next nine tabs are filtered versions of the main Familiars tab. They show which familiars are in the category that the tab is named for. These are Queries, so any data entered on these pages will break them. They are protected so this shouldn't happen. There is also a count on each tab showing how many are in the category.
'Reference' is where I'm pulling my categories from. So if you hate 'Coliseum/Boreal Woods' and just want them all to be 'Coliseum' or something, this is where you change that. But be warned, it will break pretty much everything, and you'll have to fix it.
'Changelog' is what it says on the tin.
Let me know if you'd like to be added to a pinglist for updates, if you find anything not working, any spelling mistakes or anything.
Also a link to my other spreadsheet, a Gene Project Tracker.
