I'm currently hyped up for Inquisition because of the recently announced special editions, plus I'm reading The Masked Empire. Any fans of the books? I'm very partial to a city elf origin myself. The first I made was a pale little ginger elf named Lianna... who I realised looked exactly like Lelianna once I got her >.> But EmmaFreya, you haven't said anything about your own characters/headcanons? Do tell! Any favourite companions?

[s]i even preordered the inquisitors edition[/s] I've actually just started to read The Stolen Throne and I anticipate reading all of the books. Although I find myself making a lot of parallels between Origins characters and characters from the book. I actually have three playthroughs that I've finished! (City elf being one of them! I really adore that origin.) But my main origin is Surana. This sounds incredibly silly, but I was terrible at creating elves, but I really wanted to play one, so she came out looking. . . less than perfect, which I actually found really encouraging as I went through the game. (As I don't quite look perfect myself.) As for companions, I really like them all! I think Alistair, Wynne, and Shale are my absolute favourites, though. What about you? What are your favourite companions?

I STILL need to finish Dragon Age Origins. I even Brought the Ultimate Edition and haven't even beat the base game yet! In fact I don't think I'm even half way through it! >_

@EmmaFreya I'm just too busy playing other games! XD
That and while I do like the tactical-ness of the combat system I find it gets kinda boring after a while of playing, so I only play for about an hour at a time at most. Which since I NEED to like find everything because I'm just like that I typically spend an hour if not more in each main area. XP

i havent played da2 yet ( though i do own it ), but dao is one of my favorite games, i dont think i'll ever get tired of it. my current playthrough is with a really sweet human mage named caitlin, who is way pretty. i think i'm stuck in the deep roads, as i normally find myself in. my default wardens, however, are always my rouge dalish elves; they're just too lovely.
alistair and zevran are my favorite companions, with alistair being way too cute to not drag him along in my party and zevran too charming.

i'm pretty pumped for inquisition as well, though i have yet to preorder it. my inquisitor will most likely be an elf, but i plan on playing as a qunari afterwards.

Tell me how you like DA2 once you get around to playing it! The system is a fair bit different from Origins, but overall, I think you'll enjoy it.

Sweet, I knew there had to be fans on here! :D
I've played Origins (elf mage Warden) and 2, and I'm super pumped for Inquisition. I think I'd like to play a qunari, but I haven't settled on a class yet.
What did you all think of Awakening? It's the only thing I haven't played and was wondering if it would be worth it.

It does give you a lot of insight on Anders and Justice, so if you're interested in that, it's definitely worth it. Additionally, I enjoyed the characters and epilogue a lot. It seemed a little short to me, but it does fill in some plot details. I think it's worth it.
