Those films are bad, but you can go lower. So much lower.
This thread poses the question: what is the absolute worst, dumpster-grade, absolute garbage and incompetent-on-every-level movie you have ever seen? Films so bad they look like they were shot on video. Films that it boggles the mind why and how they were even made? Films that kill all the love you have for humanity and the arts and make you just a little bit more jaded.
For the purposes of the thread, we won't be counting riffed versions of films, so if you only saw the MST3K version, then it's not bad enough.
I'm setting the bar for now at the 1988 E.T. knock-off

Troll 2 is a classic "So Bad It's Good" movie, but it looks a lot better than the kind of movie I'm talking about; the kind of film that just looks dirty, like the grit and grime of the world has become ingrained in the film itself. Street Trash is a good example, but that movie is a bit more enjoyable.
If it was something that could show up on
BadMovies.org with a low rating back in the day, then it's something that would be up for discussion.

Out of what I'm begrudgingly willing to accept as movies, Foodfight is by far the worst. It is actually painful to watch. It's less of a "so bad it's good" and more of an experience to inflict on your friends and family.

i actually have an online friend who met Tommy Wiseau at a screening and he said like "not to be unkind, but he is the closest approximation i have ever seen in real life of a David Icke lizard person."
I SO WISH I could go to a screening of The Room that's actually at a cinema or something, because right now I have to make do with screening the film at my house to friends D:

from what i can tell though (i've only heard about snippets of the disaster artist, the book by greg sestero (mark)), that the inflated budget was basically because tommy wiseau insisted on hiring two HD cameras and recording stuff on film as well as video and all the advertising and what have you wound up making the movie stupidly expensive.
