Just if anyone else is also upset and saddened by the decision to stop updating Mweor, so they can also vent here. Aaauughh.
For those of you who don't know, Mweor is an amazing breeding sim for cats, that has a better genes system then FR, tbh. But FR has dragons, soooo... Heh. I like them both a lot. But if you dig this game, then give Mweor a try, just try not to drown in the negativity the ticked-off userbase is giving out right now, hehe.
Does anyone else here play Mweor? Did you enjoy the game as much as I did? How do you feel about the most recent news post?

I signed up for it, but I never got a confirmation email from them so I couldn't use any of the forums or whatever. I made one cat and I think I named her James or something. It sounded really fun because I love cats more than dragons, but I could never get to use any of the resources on the website.

But yeah, it didn't click with me. The layout made it seem boring (yes, I'm THAT kind of person....I need an interesting site design and millions upon millions of options and combinations). It looked like there wasn't much to do for me....
I don't know, Mweor just seemed small and plain to me at the time so I didn't really click with it, y'kno? I think I should go back and revisit it though. Flightrising on the other hand appealed to me because of how colorful it is and I guess that's why I'm here. Also, dragons? Please.

I played it! I played it so much, I wasn't used to the screwed economy though and when I drew art and said "just pay what you think it's worth" and they gave me like 100,000 and i was like "*** this is too much"

Ahhh that's sad. I used to adore Mweor, but lost interest because of the premium currency and the aging mechanic. I didn't like that my favorite Mweors would essentially become useless after a few months, since IIRC all you could really do was breed. The economy was kinda messed up too, from what I remember. But that was literally years ago. I joined around the first anniversary and left just after the release of the Longhair.

Nothing's changed. >XD When I came here, I was FLOORED that dragons didn't have an age limit for breeding. Now, they do have MUUUCH longer breed times, but the fact that my dragon's won't become useless is amazing to me.
BUT there is no way to get custom dragons, even with gems, outside of your progen. I would have made Eonna much cooler if I had known she was gonna be the only one I could make...

I know this is a long dead post, but wanted to say that I still play mweor daily, and they have since reopened, sort of. The updates have continued and they have also added new breeds and marking and to be honest it has gotten better.
