I've seen that many people on FR really enjoy anime, and I wanted to see the different animes that people watch: I've only seen a few, so I'd really like some recommendations!
A few of my favorites are akame ga kill, Attack on Titan, and fairy tail. But nothing can beat Sword Art Online!

Steins;Gate and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood are my two absolute favourites! I feel like a lot of people don't know about Steins;Gate, so I'd really suggest it if you're into time travel :)
I've also watched Attack On Titan, Darker than Black, Soul Eater, Hetalia (random episodes here and there), Blue Exorcist, and Tokyo Ghoul. I'm also an okay way into Fairytail and Sword Art Online, plus I've watched the first few episodes of many more anime.

My favorite is probably Nichijou.
Slice of life, but instead of being a bunch of moe, it's a bunch of absurd humor. It's one of the funniest things I've seen in my dang life.

Deadman Wonderland is my all-time favorite anime. It's also kinda geared to a certain audience, so to speak, though. It's full of gore, the main characters use their own blood as weapons, people die a lot, there are references to all varieties of abuse... Not for those with faint hearts or weak stomachs. When recommending it, it helps to know what kinds of things you need to/want to avoid so I can warn you about particular scenes or tell you to just not watch it if necessary.
If you do watch it and like it, though, I highly suggest reading the manga. It's the only way to get the full story. The anime was made with the intention of a second season and is set up as such, with a lot of things left open for the next season to answer or carry on, but it never happened. If you only watch the anime, you'll be left disappointed.

Definitely going to go with Gurren Lagann. Many feels were had. I'd definitely recommend checking out if you're looking for something new to watch!

my favs would probably be gurren lagann, haikyuu!!, fma:brotherhood, oofuri and smile precure! i'm really getting into a lot of sports anime recently so free! and yowapeda are high on my list of anime i love too
