I have this awesome friend who is currently across the ocean from me and I miss her a bunch so I'm looking for something to do to pass the time until I can see her again.

rabbit is really good for watching stuff together, and it has video/voice chatting too.
there's tons of online games and things you could find, i'm not really sure what else to suggest. ;v;

I have a long distance girlfriend and we watch a LOT of Netflix and stream a lot of movies. We talk on the phone when watching stuff but you can also use
rabb.it or just chat over Skype or tinychat!
You can play Cards Against Humanity online (just google that) but you'd need a few more people.
I find it's also fun to like read the same fanfiction at the same time so you can react to it and talk about it or if you draw both just draw at the same time and talk. Maybe try starting a webcomic together?

We watch a loooot of stuff together- Skype is great for long-distance stuff. And just general, like, fandom talk, FR talk, shooting the... breeze, we'll go with breeze. My buddy Reagan just got me into Chopped, so I've been yelling at him a lot about that (I got him into WWE, so he yells at me about that, and everyone is happy).
