YO FLIGHT RISING, i wanna know what your comfort games are! like, what games do you play when you need comforting, to calm down, to just chill out after a stressful day?

some of my favorite comfort games are Ratchet & Clank, Brutal Legend, Spyro the Dragon, and The Binding of Isaac

Ratchet & Clank especially helps me calm down from an anxiety attack. the games of that series are my main go-to when i'm having an attack and need to calm my brain down

hows about yous guys?

Skyrim, hands down. Because I can just go wander around and smash enemies in the face or shoot them in random body parts or burn them to a crisp. And because it's in first person I feel very immersed in the world. Also when you're not in combat usually the music is just so soothing, like I've fallen asleep to the non-combat songs in the soundtrack before :)

Pokemon, Fear Less!, Animal crossing, and Sumset Overdrive, most of them when I'm really angry or plain anxious.

Harvest Moon, Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy, Tales of series, Disgaea, Golden Sun...and so on. I don't really care for hack/slice/kill games, so strategy is my way of relaxing.

Skyrim can also be played in third-person!

My comfort game is definitely Ni no Kuni. It's just so fun and happy, and it makes me smile whenever I play it :)

Animal crossing is great, it helps with insomnia as well. I also play Cities:Skylines, Banished, Prison Architect, Minecraft (without enemies) and Monster Hunter 4. I'm really jumpy with video games so generally designing/building type things work for me. I couldn't tell you why Monster Hunter doesn't startle me.
