AND I CAN'T STOP. SEND HELP.

Seriously though, my best friend has been trying to get me into this show for ages and whenever I've watched trailers, had it talked about around me, etc. I always thought it sounded so meehhhh... and when I started the first episode I thought, "Oh god this looks so cheesy..." but at the end of episode one I already found myself going, "ANOTHER!"

It's so addictive omg I love it. I'm currently on season 2 and find myself struggling to turn Netflix off on an evening now because I just want MOAR.

Does anyone else watch it? Who are your favourite characters? Who are your favourite pairings?! I'm not normally one to do a huge amount of shipping but this show is FULL of couples and possible pairings aha.

Also...

PLEASE NO SPOILERS PAST SEASON 2!!! I'm only on S02E05 so if anyone spoils anything for me I won't be pleased, I've avoided looking at the Wiki pages and blogs and such thus far, I just needed somewhere else to scream about how much I love this show aha.

I'm with @rollpoly. It was good but...I got annoyed that they kept introducing awesome characters and then abandoning them after only one or two episodes.

I have that problem too, I was disappointed with how quickly they forgot Ruby because she was such an interesting character.

I hate to say it but Fables was a far better take on the fairy tales in reality thing, that's not to say I didn't enjoy OuaT because I did enjoy it but Fables just had a certain grittiness to it that Once lacked.

I actually started watching Once Upon A Time after discovering the Fables comics and falling in love with them and I did enjoy the first few seasons of the show but after that I kinda lost interest, a lot of it because of Ruby and the fact that I think they really dropped the ball with her and she was a character who just deserved a lot better than what the show gave her. And then it felt like all the characters I really liked on the show ended up the same way--so good, so much potential, and basically nothing done with it.

I definitely prefer Fables but god, I think Once Upon A time could've been better than them. I was so disappointed that it wasn't.

@EnchantedEcho It's fantastic! Well, I wasn't as in to the most recent season, but I still got around to catching up. In the first few seasons, their ideas are fresh and their characters are brilliant! Don't know how to feel about S4, but S5 is sure to be interesting... I have to say, I do enjoy Hook/Killian's character! Can't go into much detail though... c; [center][img]http://www.geekgirlpenpals.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/spoilers.gif[/img][/center] Anywho, my favorite pairing also falls under that sad little spoilers rule. Wait until S3! You'll love it. (Depending on what [i]you[/i] ship, that is.) Who are your favorite characters so far? Your ships?

@enchantedecho a oncer protip: do not watch the first half of season four of you don't like frozen. do not do it. it holds little to no significance for the second half of the season though, so if you do skip it, you won't be missing anything.

I definiiteeellyyyyy ship the hay out of Rumple & Belle. Like woah. I've found myself yelling at the scream at times and that's not something I ever really do aha. I loved Rumple/Mr. Gold from the get-go because he's such a damned cool character/actor and as soon as they gave him a love interest I was... presently surprised? I really wasn't expecting it. But it's SO FRIGGIN CUTE. I haven't looked up anything for obvious reasons but I do wonder if there was much fuss caused over the fact he's way older than she is? (I mean he's, what, hundreds of years older anyway? But especially in Storybrooke, he looks way older than her anyway.)

Me and my friends that watch it all like to assign our characters in shows like this, I was immediately given the role of Snow before I'd even watched it and I had to agree completely when I saw her, we even look/dress similar, it was pretty freaky aha. Same goes for my best friend - he is Mr. Gold down to a tee. Snow is definitely a favourite of mine as well and I dig all the screen time her and Charming get.

I am okay with Frozen and already knew about the Frozen elements they were throwing into the show because my friends wouldn't shut up about it aha. I was never really a fan but didn't mind it too much. c:

I watched the first season the summer after it aired because all my friends were into it, and watched the first couple episodes of s2 but then I just kind of got bored and abandoned it (and I almost never abandon shows). :/ Most of the friends who had wanted me to watch it have since abandoned it as well, so I probably won't ever go back, but that's all right; I've got too many shows to keep up with as-is.

Rumple was my favorite character when I watched, though, and I shipped Rumbelle pretty hard.
