So for those of you who've played video games I'm sure there's always been that [i]one enemy[/i] that has creeped you out and perhaps even scared you from time to time despite the game you are playing not being a horror game. The most common example I can think of off of the top of my head are the re-deads from The Legend of Zelda series, (Specifically Ocarina of time, but they've always been super creepy throughout the entire series.) So feel free the share your stories of scary enemies that technically shouldn't have been that scary here! It doesn't matter if you don't think others will find it scary as long as you found it scary for whatever reason.

For me (you can probably guess the game from my signature) is the Chaos Eater from Dark Souls 1. They aren't very threatening as long as you can meet them face to face on the ground. The worst thing they can do is look creepy and damage your equipment maybe as long as you stay on your toes. But that still doesn't stop them from being creepy and making me seriously worried about who's mind came up with these abominations.

Now what makes these enemies really bad and creepy though is the fact that if you land inside of them from up above they are comprised of spikes and you will basically be swirling down a toilet of spikes if you end up landing on top of one, and of course there was a trap involving an item where the floor collapsed right into a pit with 3 or 4 of these things... I actually didn't fall into it myself thanks to some very helpfully placed messages left by other players. (showing me to the safespot basically.) But uh... this is what it looks like... not in motion.

To this day I cannot play those parts of OoT without making sure i have all the lights on in the room. I'm almost 30 for cryin' out loud D:. I think it's because the first time i played the game I was 16 or 17 and I was completely not expecting those things and then they happened and yeah I was traumatized for life.

I mean I was 6 years old playing this game and thought "well...he's staying in one place". Until I actually got into the water and that thing let loose the most horrific roar and came after me at mach speed with teeth 3 feet long! To this very day I still shudder when I had to go in the same waters as these nasty little beasts and keep the sound down. Fun fact is they get faster and faster...usually best bet is egg em or kamikaze them.
