Sometimes I'll stop feeling any emotion for hours at a time I just feel blank it's like someone flipped a switch and the happy go lucky person I usually am gets replaced by a robot that goes through my daily routine and then some time later (it can last a few minutes or a few hours) my emotions come back and hit me like a freight train.
Does this happen to anyone else?

@Halbri do you have any mental illnesses? it could be a product of dissociation which can be a stand-alone or disorder or symptom of another

@codeyumi I do have ADHD I'm not sure about any others at this moment

@Halbri well im not sure about adhd but if you're seeing a professional anytime soon (eg family doctor or someone) i'd suggest mentioning this to them just in case!

@HailQueenSteph The only medication i take is fluoxetine the only side effects should be stomach aches and headaches which I've had none of

That happens to me all the time, pretty much at least once every day. I've been diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, but I'm not sure if that's what causes it. You should talk to a doctor or therapist or psychologist about it.
